Josh Chlopowicz was the player of the game. He pitched 7 strong innings only giving up one earned run. Josh was 3-3 with a double and a run scored. In the ninth inning the Red Sox got their lead off batter on. The next batter hit a chopper up the middle, Josh was playing second, he was able to get the tip of his glove on the ball so it only rolled about 15 feet from him. He chased it down and gunned the runner trying to go from first to third. That was a game saver because the Red Sox rallied to score two runs that inning to only lose by one.
