06/05/2009 - LEAGUE PICNIC INFO - The 2009 league picnic is planned for Saturday 7/25. There will be a BBQ from 4-5pm, and then each league member will receive a ticket for the Tucson Toros's game that starts at 7pm. During the game, Tucson MSBL's 20 year veterans will be announced along with HOF members and the 2009 HOF inductees.
Tickets for additional friends or family members can be purchased for $4 at the game, or in advance through arrangement with Dave Luera.
Team managers need to provide a headcount of players who plan to attend as soon as possible to Dave Luera.
Also, if you or your players have any nominees for the Tucson MSBL Hall of Fame (HOF), please submit your candidates asap to Herb McReynolds. Criteria for candidates listed here.

05/09/2009 - SCHEDULE REVISED FOR AMERICAN DIVISION - 3 night games per team have been added to the schedule to bring the total number of games to 24 per team.
05/09/2009 - REMINDER: LOCK GATES AT KINO - Teams are reminded to make sure to lock the field access gates - the main gate into the Kino North Quad, and the Kino S #3 gates, the quad access gate, and the parking lot gate for the south side.
04/01/2009 - SCHEDULE - The schedule for April has just been posted. Only April was posted because we are still trying to sort out field availability issues, at which time the remainder of the schedule will be put up.
IMPORTANT NOTES
1. Kino combo lock combination has been provided to team managers and umpires
2. Fields WILL NOT be prepped for this Sunday, meaning the fields may be in rough shape and foul lines may or may not be present. I was assured they will be prepped going forward.
3. Remember the field rules - clean up your dugouts after games, and NO ALCOHOL at kino fields, and this includes the parking lot.

03/28/2009 - WHERE IS THE SCHEDULE? - The league schedule has NOT been published yet. We ARE working on it, there are quite a few challenges with fields for opening day, which we are still planning to be sunday 4/5. The league web site will be updated with the schedule and email will be sent to let everyone know it is available as soon as possible once it is ready.
In the meantime, all teams/players should go under the assumption that there will be games on sunday 4/5 until further notice.
We appreciate your patience.
03/28/2009 - EQUIPMENT PICKUP - We do not yet have a time set for equipment pickup. The hold up is the hat order, and at this time we are looking as POSSIBLY Thursday 4/2 through Saturday 4/4, but the actual pickup days/times will be confirmed once it is set.
03/17/2009 - MANAGER'S MEETING, FEES DUE - The next manager's meeting is this Friday, 3/20, at 7pm at UMC Cafeteria. All teams must be represented at the meeting, and must turn in rosters and fees at this meeting, unless you have already turned them in.
01/27/2009 - MEETING MINUTES - Minutes of the 1/23 Manager's Meeting are here. Next meeting will be Friday, February 20th at 7pm at the UMC Cafeteria. All teams should have a representative present at the meeting.
01/18/2009 - MANAGER'S MEETING - The first Manager's Meeting for the 2009 season will be held on Friday, January 23rd at 7pm at the UMC Cafeteria. All teams should have a representative present at the meeting.
