- 10/10/2008 - DODGERS MOUNTAIN CHAMPIONS - Congratulations to the Mountain Division Dodgers,
who upset the Angels 9-8 to take the first championship of the new Mountain Division.
- 10/08/2008 - CHAMPIONSHIP GAMES SET - The A's and
Diamondbacks meet for the National Division championship. In the American Division, the Orioles and Twins
square off, and in the Mountain Division the Angels and Dodgers play for the first ever
40+ crown in Tucson MSBL.
- 09/27/2008 - PLAYOFFS BEGIN - Playoffs in all three divisions begin
this week. Congratulations to all teams who qualified for the post-season, and
good luck! First round pairings are scheduled and online.
- 08/15/2008 - NATIONAL 17, AMERICAN 9 - The re-scheduled All-Star game
saw the National squad out-slug the American team to win in front
of a nice crowd at Hi Corbett.
- 07/26/2008 - WEATHER 1, ALLSTARS 0 - The All-Star game was postponed
without even getting started as Hi Corbett and mid-town was completely flooded
shortly before the game was to start. We will be working to get this game
re-scheduled.
Tragically, at Reid Annex, an 8-year old watching an American Legion game was
electrocuted during this same storm.

- 07/16/2008 - 2008 ALLSTAR GAME - The 2008 Tucson MSBL All-Star game
between the National and American All-Stars will be held on Friday July 25th at
7pm at Hi Corbett Stadium. All teams must submit their All-Star nominees - 2
position players and 1 pitcher - due by Monday 7/21.
- 05/03/2008 - MOUNTAIN SCHEDULE ONLINE - The schedule for the Mountain
Division is now available online.
- 05/03/2008 - SUNDAY GAMES MOVED FROM REID TO KINO - All Sunday team
managers should have received email notification of games moved from Reid to
Kino. Please make sure your players get the word and show up in the right place!
- 05/03/2008 - ALL STARS - All team managers are requested to poll their
players to see if there is enough interest in an All-Star event. Please ask your
players if they would participate and if they have a preference for format (i.e.,
within division only, inter-divisional, etc.). All-Star's will NOT be held on
Father's Day, and MAY be held at a stadium if there is enough participation.
Please email
the league with your team name and a decision no later than Tuesday 5/20.
- 04/11/2008 - BASEBALL IN HAWAII IN NOVEMBER! - Sun, surf, and
baseball in Hawaii at the 2nd Annual Pineapple-Cactus Woodbat Classic. This is
a great trip for couples, or for single baseball players. For more information,

- 04/01/2008 - 2008 SCHEDULE ONLINE - The schedule is online
here for the National and American divisions. Work is
still ongoing on the Mountain schedule, and there are some games that have not
yet been assigned to fields.
PLEASE REMEMBER - NO PARKING IN RESIDENTIAL AREAS AROUND REID PARK!!
- 03/22/2008 - PARKING AT TUCSON MSBL GAMES - All players should park
in designated parking areas at the park where games are taking place. At no
time should you park in any nearby residential areas. On days when parking close
to the field is not possible due to schedule issues or other groups using the
park, consider carpooling or having the guys with trucks drop players and
equipment at the field entrance to make it easier.
- 03/22/2008 - SCHEDULE - The schedule is being finalized at should be
out shortly. We are waiting for final confirmation on fields for Sunday 4/6
opening day games. The schedule will be posted online as soon as it is ready.
- 02/20/2008 - MANAGER'S MEETING MINUTES - Minutes from last night's
manager's meeting can be found here.
- 02/05/2008 - NEXT MANAGER'S MEETING - The next manager's meeting
will be held on Tuesday 2/19 at 7pm at the University Medical Center Cafeteria.
All teams managers are required to attend or send a representative. Read the
minutes of the first meeting here.
- 01/12/2008 - 2008 SEASON - FIRST MANAGER'S MEETING - This meeting will
be held on Wednesday 1/23, 7pm at the University Medical Center Cafeteria.
- 01/12/2008 - 40+ DIVISION FOR 2008 - The league has decided to go 40+
instead of 45+ to open this new divsion to more players. More information is
available here.
- 12/09/2007 - 45+ DIVISION FOR 2008 -
There WILL BE a 45+ Division competing in the Tucson MSBL for 2008! Please go to
the League Forum and read "NEW for 2008!"
for details on how to become involved.
- 11/19/2007 - 45+ DIVISION FOR 2008 -
The league is looking to add a 4-6 team 45+ division for 2008. This effort is
being headed up by Dave Reynolds, manager of the 2007 Central Red Sox.
If you or any of your players would be interested in:
- signing up and/or managing a 45+ team
- joining a 45+ team as a player
- helping dave get the league off the ground

- 11/03/2007 - MSBL NATIONAL HONORS - Congratulations to our league
President Jim Baugher, who was inducted into the MSBL Hall of Fame for 2007.
Board member and Senior Reds / Central Diamondbacks manager Marc Sewell
was also honored for participating in every MSBL World Series since Tucson MSBL
started back in 1988.
- 10/07/2007 - CONGRATULATIONS 2007 CHAMPS - Congratulations to the
Senior A's and the Central Bulls who are this year's champions in their
respective divisions!
