The 2018 Season starts in April. The board of directors is now forming schedules and teams.

If you know someone on a team, talk to them about joining. This is the easiest way to find out what team they are playing on, what age division they play for, and if his team needs players. Often times, all of our players are familiar with all of the teams and may know of a team that needs players.

If you don’t know anyone, add yourself to the PLAYER POOL

If you are new to town or don’t have any friends that play baseball, add yourself to the Player Pool. Answer a few questions and the form will be sent to our managers. They will contact you directly if they need someone with your skills and/or availability. Player Pool information is not public, we only send the submissions to our managers. Player fee (all divisions) – $260
Team manager fee – $185 (player fee minus $75)
Playing in multiple divisions – $235 each additional team

Fees cover league expenses which include umpire and field fees, baseballs, hats, and insurance. $26 of the fee goes to MSBL National, and also pays for “Hardball” magazine which is the quarterly publication of MSBL. Team managers get a reduced fee as compensation for the time and effort it takes to run a team.

Uniform costs are additional, and vary from team to team. Most teams have major-league style/quality uniforms.

Teams can get a business to sponsor them to help with some or all of the cost.
